Give Supplies

The only form of clothing ShelterCare accepts is gently used clothing, since clothing is in high demand at our ShelterCare Medical Recuperation program. Clothing items we accept include:

  • Clean, gently used adult clothing – ideally athetic wear that could fit multiple sizes
  • Clean, gently used shoes
  • Sweatshirts, Sweatpants, and T-Shirts
  • New underwear

We do not accept children’s clothing. Click here for a list of organizations that accept clothing donations.

ShelterCare program participants generally need household supplies to help them get started in their new residence. Many participants have low or no income, and benefits such as SNAP cannot be used to purchase cleaning supplies and other items that are necessary for maintaining a safe and livable home environment.
