Motorcycle Fellowship Spreads Holiday Joy

Cruizers for Christ, a Christian motorcycle fellowship, teamed up with ShelterCare on Saturday, Nov. 29, to spread some holiday cheer by giving gifts to residents of ShelterCare’s Family Housing Program (FHP), which provides emergency housing and support to homeless families with children. Families took turns selecting from a variety of toys, stockings and clothing while the Cruizers provide childcare for residents of FHP. Cruizers for Christ has been delivering joy to the clients of FHP for nearly 15 years.

“The families in ShelterCare’s programs look forward to this event which brings such a sense of joy and abundance,” said ShelterCare Executive Director Susan Ban. “The gifts are important, but the enthusiasm and compassion – not to mention the noise of the big bikes – enables families to feel included in the holiday excitement that we all enjoy at this time of year.”
