Our employees, partner agencies, and volunteers work together for the benefit and support of our communities. We couldn’t do it without you!

Volunteer.
There are many opportunities for volunteers throughout ShelterCare, from helping in our Children’s Program to painting a building to teaching someone how to ride the bus.

Make a donation.
The work that ShelterCare does would not be possible without support from the community. Please consider a donation of any size to help a homeless family receive needed housing and services or an adult with mental illness or brain injury to succeed independently.

Attend an event.
ShelterCare holds several fun and exciting community events throughout the year, including a spectacular HouseWarming Auction each May. We invite you to join us as a guest, donor, sponsor, or volunteer.

Support United Way.
United Way of Lane County provides significant support for ShelterCare’s Emergency Services Program and Shankle Safe Haven. ShelterCare employees are strong supporters of United Way, recognizing that many agencies that provide critical support to our residents and program participants are underwritten by United Way of Lane County.
